I’m giving this 4 vs 5 stars for two reasons..

1 – very annoying that you need to push the button in order to start the charging process. Very easy to forget to push button and this was not the norm on prior Anker chargers that I’ve had

2 – I’ve had other 10K chargers and I’d say others have lasted longer than this one. Can’t prove it and haven’t timed it but just a gut feeling.

Still a great unit and I like the flatter design and it totally does the job.

I bought this to take on a cruise since you now use your cell phone for all activity scheduling, restaurant menus, etc. By late afternoon, my phone is low on battery life and I don’t want to leave it in the cabin while it charges. I can keep the power bank in my bag and let the phone charge while we’re at dinner or in a show and have access to it when I need it.

Have you ever experienced the panic of seeing your phone battery drain to 1% while you’re in the middle of a road trip or a day-long adventure? I certainly have! But fear no more, my fellow adventurers, for I have discovered the ultimate solution: the Anker Portable Charger, 313 Power Bank (PowerCore Slim 10K)!

Let me share my personal experience and why this remarkable power bank has earned its spot as my trusty sidekick. As a tech enthusiast who loves exploring the great outdoors, I depend heavily on my smartphone for navigation, capturing memories, and staying connected. But as we all know, battery life can be a real buzzkill. That’s where the Anker Portable Charger comes to the rescue!

First and foremost, this power bank boasts a whopping 10,000mAh battery capacity, providing me with enough juice to revive my phone multiple times. It’s like having a superhero’s power at my fingertips! With this portable charger in my backpack, I can bid farewell to the anxiety of running out of battery power at the most inconvenient moments.

What sets the Anker PowerCore Slim 10K apart from the rest is its sleek design. It’s incredibly slim, compact, and lightweight, making it the perfect travel companion. Gone are the days of bulky power banks weighing down my pockets or bags. The Anker PowerCore Slim 10K slides effortlessly into any pocket, leaving me feeling light and free.

Now, let’s talk about charging speed. The PowerIQ Charging Technology integrated into this power bank is a game-changer. It automatically detects the device connected and delivers the fastest possible charge, ensuring that I spend less time waiting and more time enjoying my adventures. Whether I’m charging my iPhone or my Samsung Galaxy, the Anker Portable Charger handles it all with lightning speed.

I must highlight the USB-C input, which provides an incredibly convenient way to recharge the power bank itself. Just a single cable and my power bank is ready to go again. No more fumbling with multiple cables or searching for an elusive wall outlet. This feature alone has saved me from countless moments of despair when I’ve forgotten to charge my power bank overnight.

One of the key aspects I appreciate about Anker is their commitment to safety. The PowerCore Slim 10K comes with multiple safety features, including surge protection, short circuit prevention, and overcharge protection. This gives me peace of mind knowing that my precious devices are safeguarded against any potential mishaps.

But let’s get to the fun part—the funny moments that this power bank has helped me navigate. Picture this: I’m in the middle of a breathtaking hike, capturing stunning photos of nature’s beauty when suddenly, my phone dies. Panic sets in, but then I remember my trusty Anker PowerCore Slim 10K. With a quick connection, my phone starts charging, and I’m back in action, saving the day (and the photos)!

Or how about the time I was stuck at an airport during a long layover? I found myself a cozy corner, plugged in my phone to the Anker Portable Charger, and binge-watched my favorite TV series without worrying about draining my battery. The power bank kept me entertained and kept my phone alive throughout the entire layover. It was like having my own personal entertainment station in my backpack.

If you’re a day trip traveler and don’t want to drag around a full sized charger bank, get this one. I’ve used Anker products before and I’ve always been satisfied with the quality of the products and worth what I paid for them.

As much as I love the bigger power banks, for smaller trips, the bigger ones are a little cumbersome and can get weighty. This one is the perfect size for day trips. It’s slim, small and lightweight. Perfect for a small purse or a backpack for power up when battery life is running low. Powering your device doesn’t take all that much time. I was able to power my XS from 30% to 75% inside of 45 minutes which is good enough for me. I’m completely satisified with this one and I’ll be taking this one with me overseas when I’m out sightseeing during the day.

I initially bought this last winter in preparation for a 3 month backpacking trip through Central & Eastern Europe. It’s slim and can easily fit in your pocket if needed. Many times I would find myself walking around with my phone in one pocket and this in the other, cord hidden beneath my coat.

The bank itself charges relatively fast and I could get maybe 4 days of charging my phone off one charge of this. Which n hindsight I suppose is decent, but at the time I was kind of annoyed every time the bank ran out of juice.

But that’s not even mentioning how fast it can charge my phone. Even now, I still use it at home just because it charges my phone so much faster than any other charger I own. It’s a solid charger and definitely worth it’s sub-$20 price tag.

I have two of these for travel and as backup power for my small-battery devices. I can get about two charges for my iPhone 12 mini or one charge for my first gen iPad Pro. Each power bank comes with a charging cable, but I’m docking one star because it no longer comes with a carrying bag. The first one I bought came with one and it was very handy for keeping the cables together and protecting the battery pack. Hopefully the manufacturers will consider bringing that back.

We used this on vacation while using our phones (a Galaxy S22 Ultra and a Galaxy S20 FE) to take pictures. The phones continued to discharge when coonected — the only way to get them to increase charge at all was to stop taking pictures and put them in our pockets. It’s better than nothing, but if you plan to heavily use a newer phone, you may want to get something with faster charging capability. As always, it’s an Anker device so it’s high quality — we have two, one that’s newer but another that’s several years old now. Both work fine besides the slow charging.

This is my forth Anker charger – my small one needed to be retired after 7 years of service. And my bigger one is too heavy for everyday use. My first charger was confiscated by China TSA customs after a layover – hopefully this one lives as long as my prior favorite one – only thing that sucks is I have one usb port and not 2 for the weight but I knew that before purchasing

I have battery rechargers ranging from a lipstick-sized unit containing a single 18650 cell up to a monster the size of a ladies purse. The baby one is rated at about 10Ah, about the capacity of a typical smartphone, while the big one is 185Ah. (You get Ah by multiplying the current in amps times the voltage.) This unit is 10,000mA or 10 amps, so 10a x 3.7v = 37 Ampere-hours, or 37Ah. So it’s good for 2 or 3 complete recharges of a typical phone. Built like a tank so don’t be afraid of dropping it.
