    Came in a big box packaging and I thought I didn’t check the size correctly. But it was a good size. I use this to cut most of my crafts where I cut more than one.

    It’s sharp but safety at the same time. I have no issues letting my kids use this to help me cut papers. It’s easy to use. Saves you time from using scissors.

    It has a good weight where it doesn’t go sliding around.

    I do wish it had more color options because my room is very white and black but it still does look nice!

    Once we removed the plastic safety guard – it works great!

    I have been searching for a good guillotine cutter that would cut through both regular copy paper up to cardstock and thick 140lb watercolor paper. This does the job! The arm is a little bit stiff, but I’m sure that will both get better after it’s broken in, and works as a safety feature. Another safety feature is the plastic guard. I really hate the guard because it gets in the way of seeing if I’m making an accurate cut. I wish there was an easy way to remove it ( there may be, I’m just too lazy for all that ). Overall, though, it’s the best cutter I’ve ever had.

    After reading the other reviews on cheaper models, I decide to go for this one for $67 and I do not regret it. I got it today opened it up. I’m using it for cutting parchment paper for my harvest right medium tray. Freeze Dryer works perfect!! It’s gonna save me a ton of money on buying the pre-cut parchment. Already went through one roll, quick

    This paper cutter is great. It is very sharp and will not move around when in use. It has a lock for the blade as well. Perfect for what I needed it for.

    PROS:
    * Sharp blade
    * Safety lock
    * Plastic ridge below blade, extra safety (see pic)
    * Perfect size for small jobs (see pic, using with 8.5”x11” paper)
    * Light enough to carry

    CONS:
    * Plastic guard makes it very hard to guate where blade will cut (see pics)
    * Plastic guard means that you cannot cut smaller items, which I regularly do
    * Not sure of ease of removing plastic guard (haven’t tried yet)
    * So-called “wood” is actually some type of MDF fiberboard, with a laminate wood grain top (see pics)

    I used this in my first self publishing endeavor. I trimmed 150 Zines and didn’t have any problems. Blade is still sharp, cuts are accurate. This is the balance of quality and cost I was looking for.

    I give this 4 stars just because i didnt like that it arrived and the box had a really big hole in it and the corners of the box were beat up. This board didnt come with instructions either and I think because the box looked like its been opened. I inspected it and it looked good it wasn’t damaged or anything. Im a beginner using this so it took me a while to get a hang of it but its easy to use. The cuts are pretty accurate just practicing using it. I just wish that it had a stopper or something to keep all of the papers in line because I have to hold them and line them up using the guide to be sure they all cut straight. I also wouldn’t go with cutting 30 pages at once. I tried it and I ruined my notepad project.
