When our baby had a stuffy nose we got this Nasal Aspirator. It has ok/decent suction and the price is worth what it does. Would absolutely recommend parents getting one or two if you have more than one baby.
I would rather use this than the mouth suction one. If they can make it with stronger suction and perhaps include additional tips we would really like that.

This little aspirator sections pretty well and its cute whale/dolphin shape makes it less scary for my daughter. I only wish that the tips were softer and more comfortable for her because she does seem not to like it very much and they feel stiff to the touch. It does include batteries and is relatively easy to clean, which are big positives for me.

It’s not as terrible as what I thought. The silicone pieces could be a bit softer though. My LO is 12 weeks and this past weekend he had his first big outing to the countryside. We all got a bit of a cold and I could hear him weezing as he nursed and knew he was clogged like I was. I sprayed some saline spray up his nose and he was able to sneeze a good booger out, which I quickly suctioned up with this. I used the machine to finish cleaning out his nose. It didn’t cause him discomfort like the bulbs do but I was terrified of poking him in the eye with the silicone piece. It is loud but either it didn’t bother my LO or he just knows no fear yet.

It’s something I’ll most likely use again but I probably wouldn’t recommend it as a “must have” for moms.

Some pros and cons for this aspirator. On the pro side, the three silicone tips provide a variety of options for different nasal conditions, the music to distract and comfort baby is great, and the automatic feature with adjustable suction levels is convenient. However, the build quality feels a bit flimsy, and the suction power, even at the highest level, might not be sufficient for more stubborn mucus. While it gets the job done for basic nasal cleaning, there’s definitely room for some improvement.

I’d give this product a 3.5 stars. I disagree with another reviewer but I think the rubber tip is the perfect softness/hardness. My baby didn’t mind it in his nose at all. The problem lay in the suction and actually getting the boogers. Unless the tip is on the booger itself, it’s not going to get sucked onto the tool. This is hard to do because boogers are different shapes and it’s hard to direct the tip due to the size of the larger rubber tip compared to the baby’s small nose. About half the times, I end up pushing the booger deeper into the nose. Even after getting sucked on, most of the time the booger stays near the tip instead of being sucked into the storage compartment due to the tiny passage it travels through in the plastic. I don’t think this tool works very well on dry boogers. It’s possible this tool shines best with wet boogers. I haven’t yet tried on any wet boogers as my baby hasn’t gotten sick yet, thankfully.

I used the traditional one before, and it will be 1st time using the electric operated one.
It’s very simple setting on/off, mild suction power and to the surprise, the sound is very low. I would assume it would be less scary than the ones our first kid experienced in a medical office in the past.
There is sound/music function, but I personally don’t even care much and think its bit odd, silly and lower quality.. I won’t be using the function anyways…
It came in the few size nasal tips which I thought bit film, and I wished it was much softer. There are also extra collection cups but not batteries AA included.

This is a nice little nasal aspirator. It looks adorable and non threatening. It does an excellent job of removing my child’s mucus and with the music feature, it makes it even better. You definitely want to read the instructions before using in order to keep your nasal aspirator from damage. An example is how much each cup should hold and how to wash this without causing damage to the nasal aspirator. It has soft tips which is especially helpful. I especially like the fact that they sent two AA batteries to put in this product in order for it to work. I do wish it was rechargeable, but the fact that they provided the batteries is something unheard of these days. Overall it’s a nice product and I would recommend it.

This works okay. I’m sure too much suction would be bad for your baby, but I’m not sure the suction is enough to do much. Sometimes it does well if the mucus is loose and close to the entrance of the nose.

Tested this product with my toddlers and baby nephews. Although the sound quality isn’t super great all of the kiddos seemed to appreciate it and they loved the dolphin shaped design even though it’s a tiny bit bulky none of them put up a struggle to getting their noses cleared and kept asking me to do it again. I appreciated that the clear tip and the 3 silicone tips can easily be taken off of the unit for sanitizing after use. There are 15 disposable mucus cups in the package and I looked and you can order additional cups if you go to Berrcom’s store page. It came with two double AA batteries required which I appreciated because many products don’t have them included. Suction seemed to work good and I was to get their stuffy noses a little clearer.

I was seriously hoping this would have decent suction as sick season was closing in on our area. Unfortunately, this suction is very weak. My son had loose snot and it wouldn’t even get hardly any of it out. So I can’t recommend this to another parent or caregiver. However, I’d definitely suggest just caving and getting one of the ones that you use manually. They are so much better than these automatic ones.

As far as quality goes- it’s well made. Feels very sturdy but is kind of heavy. The music is cute but my kid didn’t like it playing so close to his face and ears while he’s sick.
