We have been trying to sleep train our kiddo in her new room for the past 3 months. She will wake in the middle of the night and come to our room. We have tried a variety of lights, night lights, weighted blankets, fans and nothing seems to work. Our next route was a ready to wake clock. The first that we tried had a nightlight/colored sleep and wake lights but lacked ability to change the brightness which would wake her. This clock solves that issue and so much more. It has a nightlight with 3 brightness settings along with color coded ready to wake/ sleep lights. All can be turned off or activated. It has sounds that can be played. But the featured i liked was that it had a bluetooth speaker. Our kiddo listens to the same moshi sleep sleep story every night. So replacing her speaker with a alarm clock training speaker is great!

My only complaint is that we received a defective unit that can not keep accurate time.

Overall easy to use and set up the when to wake feature which is why we got it. However the red, yellow, green is really bright and I wish we could turn it down.

I love this device! Everything is perfect for our needs. It has the perfect volume for the pink noise, the light is just the right brightness on the highest level and the clock is easily seeable in the middle of the night. Wish I had bought this earlier but I’m glad I have it now. Probably gonna buy another for my other kiddos room. Haven’t used it to sleep train yet but will update when I do.

I don’t even use it for the sounds but the quietest setting on the sound machine is still pretty loud. I really only needed something that gave off a soft light and could also tell me the time. It does just that. The brightness settings are great for nighttime when I need to feed baby but even the brightest setting isn’t that bright. It won’t wake up your partner. I thought you could charge it but it’s not portable- only works when plugged in. There are lot of features! But I don’t use them.

UPDATE: I’ve had this for almost 2 months now. Would not buy again because it doesn’t quite fulfill my needs. The clock is too bright so I’ve been keeping it off, and that defeats the point of me using it as a clock. Secondly, the night light is too dim. This wouldn’t be good for middle of the night diaper changes, and I’d barely be able to see baby while nursing. Lastly, the buttons on top are annoyingly too hard to find and press if I’m half asleep. I bought this mainly for the clock and light functions, but I think it serves more as a sound machine first (which I don’t use l). I just might have to give in to splurging on the Hatch

I wanted an update for my 14 year old Philips wake up light and honestly can’t find one that fits all of my needs so I settled on this one because it’s affordable. It’s got enough pros for me to be a keeper as I primarily need it to read the time and to use as a night light.

    Pros:
-It looks attractive. It’s small and I like the sleek cube shape. Like, why are so many wake up lights in 2023 butt ugly? This is one of the few that’s not.
-You can easily tap the top of the clock to turn on the night light for night time nursing.
-You can use the when-to-wake light without sound.
-The clock is easy to read because it’s not tiny numbers at the bottom of the device. You also have the option of turning off the clock if it’s too bright for you.
-It doesn’t depend on your phone to control. I’m just trying to keep it simple here.
-It’s affordable. If one day the world makes the perfect wake up light for me, I’d have no qualms giving this away.

    Cons:
-The buttons on top are not raised so they’re hard to navigate in the dark. You also have to apply a lot of pressure on them with your finger. It definitely takes effort to use them.
-The sound machine is too loud at the lowest volume setting.
-I wish the night light would go one notch brighter, but it’s good enough for night time nursing.
-I wish the when-to-wake light was also brighter to really help wake me up on dark mornings.
-No snooze button for the alarm clock (but I guess I could use my phone alarm instead)

Love this light/alarm/sound machine. I only wish I could control it from my phone, then it would be the best!

I love that the ok to wake colors are soft and not overpowering. I also like that they run independent of the soft white variable nightlight. My biggest gripe with the competitors is that the colors are neon and dominant / take up the entire clock. I prefer a pitch black room for sleep, but need the cue of the colors to help with rest time / nap time so my daughter knows when she needs to be quiet and when she can call to get out. This clock is perfect for that. It’s cutdown the naptime battles a ton. My daughter loves turning on the lullaby herself. I love that the set time / alarm clock features can be locked on the bottom. It had a learning curve but it is easy to use after a day or two. My only complaint, and why we need to change to a competitor, is that it needs an app. I’m not on a consistent schedule, more a range, for naps. So I have to set and reset the clock everyday. If for any reason I need to go in early I can’t change the light to green then it starts to lose its hold on my toddler. For that reason I have to swap to another clock. But I’m going to miss the lullaby (the competition has an inferior lullaby) and the coloring / design. Nearly perfect. If they deploy an app, I’m coming back…take my money. If we were using this and had a specific set schedule l, it would be perfect. But our schedule has flexibility within a range naps could start from 1-2 depending on activities. It would also tough to toggle between naps and bedtime. We only use for naps at the moment.

This is awesome. I love how the clock on it stays set to the right time even if you unplug it and move it somewhere. The Bluetooth is nice because we love to play Taylor Swift (Piano Version) to have in the background when she is in the play room. I had the Hatch sound machine and then returned it to get this one! It’s so great for the price. Easy to move around, it is sturdy, and the settings are simple!

    What I liked:
    1. Convenient to have the clock and nightlight in a single unit. Sound machine is definitely a good addition, but not as useful as the other two features (see below for improvement ideas).
    2. Color coded light reminder before sleep and wake time can be a great training tool to get kids on schedule.
    3. Long USB cord, so no issue reaching outlets that are at the bottom of the night stand. (And USB-C to boot!)
    4. I do like the automated clock sync when linked with your phone via Bluetooth.

    What I didn’t like:
    1. Nightlight has to be manually turned on. I would be much easier if this can be automated with the sleep time (turn on) and wake time (turn off). Also it does not remember the brightness and you have to hit the button numerous times just to turn it off.
    2. If the sounds can also be automated like the night light, that would be appreciated.
    3. On the topic of sounds, the lowest volume is still a bit loud in my opinion. If the volume can be adjusted even lower, that would be better for quieter rooms. (Rain is super loud). Also, sound quality seems a bit sub par, as rain just sounds like static (comparing with iPhone’s built in rain background sound). This could just be the sound file itself vs the speaker quality, but I’m not sure.
    4. At this price, I would probably expect it to be a smart device with an app that can do all this automation and perhaps even have the ability to upload your own sounds from your linked phone.
