I live in Arizona, which in case you haven’t known, it gets up to 115°. I purchased the small ice packs and froze the whole thing together in my freezer. When we’re about to leave I put it on my daughters seat and it keeps it cold. During my shopping trip I leave it on her seat and it keeps it cool. Only once has it completely defrosted but I was out & about Phoenix for 6 hours. But the seat was completely cool. This is a strong recommend for all parents. This is cute. It’s a woman mama owned business and such a game changer.

Even before I was pregnant I knew this was a must have. We could not live in the Arizona heat without this. Your child DOES NOT sit on top of the cooler. I repeat… NOT FOR SITTING ON! You put it in the car seat to cool it down when your child is not in it. When you get back in the car, viola, cold seat, no hot metal buckles or straps. The ice packs that fit perfectly are less than a dollar! I have an infant so we just use it to cool the seat down but when he is older it can be used to keep their lap cool while driving or out and about, too. Stays cold ALL day!

I live in central California where it gets 100-113 degrees in the summer. The idea of this is great, but I thought the top strap of the cooler somehow latches on the top on the car seat to hold the cooling pack in place, but it doesn’t. It’s very hard to keep the top two cooling packs from flopping forward in the car seat. For the price I paid for the cooler and all the ice packs, I think the concept could’ve been a little better in that respect and seems like an easy fix if the company wanted to improve it. It does do a great job cooling down the seat and straps for my kids, so I do appreciate that they arent sweating in the car. The ice packs do take up a lot of space in a freezer, so that’s something to factor in if you have multiple car seats to cool.
Overall it’s good, but would love a strap that reaches around the headrest to hold it in place better

I really want to like this and use it, it’s super cute, however, it is very inconvenient. It takes up a lot of space in your freezer, not ideal if you have a tiny freezer like me. You have to remember to take it with you and put it back in the freezer at least a few hours before you want to use it again (although that’s maybe more of a me problem). It also doesn’t stay up in the car seat well, so sometimes the straps don’t get cooled off. We live in the Phoenix area, so cooling off the car seat is a must, but also an added hassle. Biggest con for me is the space it takes up in the freezer.

Great idea- helped keep my toddler cool. Was hard to remember to always take it in and out. Wish there was a strap to put around car seat because it would just fall down sometimes!

For some reason, I thought the ice packs came with it but they do not. Must’ve misread that. But this product is a lifesaver for me and baby! Summers are very hot where I live and although this doesn’t keep her cool fully- this product combined with a few others like a stroller fan and car seat cover, make a HUGE difference!

We LOVE our little bum cooler. I don’t know people don’t understand, YOU DO NOT PUT YOUR BABY ON TOP OF IT AND STRAP THEM IN!!! It gets super hot here, and the car sitting in a hot parking lot for even 5 minutes hurts my kiddos legs and bums, so I pull the little bum coolers out of the freezer before we leave for the day, when we get out of the car, I set the little bum coolers on the seats so when we get back into a hot car, the kiddos seats are nice and cool, then I put the little bum cooler on the floor. Best thing ever invented.

These are amazing. Don’t hesitate to buy. Hot cars are a living hell and this is genius.

We live in Texas and getting in the car after it’s been sitting in the sun is no joke! My toddler dreads it. I saw this on another social media platform and thought we’d try it out. I didn’t mind buying the ice packs separate- my main problem was it doesn’t leave her car seat cold for long! At all. It last a minute, if that. (I also tried it on my seat when I know she’s not gonna join me for a ride. I’ll put it in an hour prior to leaving and nothing) I usually put on her body or place it on her lap. Will be looking for something a bit better + more long lasting solution.

The ice packs needed for this keep in mind will melt within a few hours. So if it’s a longer trip will only be effective for a few hours. Also, for all you busy parents out there, it’s easy to forget to bring and refreeze after every use. But for short trips around town will help keep car seat cool.
