We have moved to the country and my cats like to explore our 10 acres. The positive: The tags are easy to set-up and light weight, so the cats do not mind it on their collars. However, one cat absolutely freaks out when the chime goes off.
For my situation, I’m not sure it was a good investment. Our WIFI and cellular are not so good because we have hills and valleys around our house. It is hard to get a fix on the tag if the cats wonder down to the creek to too far from the house.
I very disappointed in the app and the functions. For me there was a significantly long update delay on the location even when the tag was moved nearby and in good signal range. The map, for me, does not have granularity I expected from modern technology and that other apps have. It only gives me a proximality. This might be different in the city or other urban areas.
I think I’m going to need GPS.

I purchased this in July 2023. One tile is now out of battery. Is it true the battery lasts less than 4 months? Manufacturer, please contact me.
UPDATE…after several email exchanges, their incredible customer service sent a replacement Tile. UPDATED TO 5 stars.

My first tile to be exact, I bought this pack for my work tools. Got a two pack for an extra one just incasies.
I was under the impression that the tile did a little more in-depth tracking. And that is true, it’s just that if you want those features you have to pay for them monthly after purchasing the product. I do not agree with business tactics like that so I will not be purchasing it. Overall the product is good and services it’s general purpose. But I wish it was louder and made out of a better material than plastic.

I bought these so that we could track our baggage when we fly Southwest. Unlike Delta, you are not able to see when your bags are checked and where they are. These little tiles helped us know that our bags got boarded on the plane and we were able to ring it once it got near us so we could find it on the conveyor belt. I think the range could be better with other devices, but these worked fine for luggage. I would not use to locate my kid, wallet, etc.

3 stars because it does work but it can be a hazard. I had these on my two dogs for maybe a month. I’m honestly not sure when this could have happened within that time. Luckily, neither of them were hurt but it looks like my dog was chewing on the other ones tile. The battery is still inside but definitely bitten up and smashed. Dogs can die if they eat a battery. Be careful and use supervision with your pets. We got lucky that she’s ok.

I have my most recently purchased tile on my remote control and it has been a lifesaver! I can’t tell you how many times I misplaced or bury my remote under my sheets so I find my tile in seconds it performs so well I am so pleased with my purchase!
